Interactive demo with synthetic data. This environment demonstrates Terra PPC workflows using synthetic advertising, seller-business, financial and economics data. Actions remain inside this demo and are not sent to Amazon or any external advertising or selling account.

Which campaigns the hourly rule works on, its thresholds, and what each scheduled cycle does with the proposal.
Mode
- Observe: Each cycle shows the proposal on this page; nothing is queued or applied.
- Review: Each cycle queues the schedule proposal in the Review queue for approval.
- Auto: Each cycle applies the schedule proposal, inside the guardrails and the circuit breaker.
An hour slot is judged only when its modeled Ad Spend in the period reaches this amount.
How much higher than its weekday's average conversion rate a strong hour must convert (5–300%).

Apply now and Send to review are manual actions and work in every mode. Applying writes the changes to the daypart schedule shared with Dayparting; every change is logged and can be undone in the Change Log. No changes are sent to Amazon.
How the hourly rule works
Terra PPC's deterministic heuristic over the synthetic hourly model. No machine-learning model is involved.
- The plan’s campaign totals for the period are spread over the 7 × 24 hour slots with the synthetic hour-of-week profile: Ad Spend and clicks follow the spend weights, Ad-attributed Sales and orders the sales weights. Budget consumed is the share of the campaigns’ combined daily budget spent by the end of the hour on an average day of that weekday. Synthetic hourly model — not a live data stream.
- Weak hour: modeled ACoS above the spend-weighted break-even ACoS, with at least $1.50 modeled Ad Spend in the slot → Bid −20%, or Paused when the slot has no modeled sales. At most four per weekday, the highest ACoS first.
- Strong hour: modeled conversion rate at least 25% above that weekday’s average, with ACoS within the spend-weighted Target ACoS → Bid +10%. At most three per weekday.
- Only slots that are Normal in the saved schedule are proposed. The proposal writes the same 7 × 24 schedule the Dayparting page edits, and adds the plan’s campaigns to it.
- Increases pass the business guardrails and the emergency controls before they can be applied or queued; Auto cycles also stop while the circuit breaker is tripped.
- Production candidate: In production, hourly advertising data would come from Amazon Marketing Stream, subject to Amazon approval and the customer's authorization. This demo does not subscribe to Amazon Marketing Stream.
